"In all I do to honor you." Those are the words I've been listening to these past few minutes. The song they are from is "Amazing Love" by the Newsboys . I can only hope that SOME of what I do, honors the Lord. I wish that EVERYTHING I say, what I think, how I act and the choices I make were all honoring to Him. But they aren't always. I make more - and i do mean way more - than my share of mistakes that don't bring glory or honor to Him. BUT HOW AWESOME IS IT TO KNOW THAT NO MATTER WHAT - HE FORGIVES US ALL! And that brings me to the course I want this blog to take. To be one to share Jesus with whomever will listen and to bring joy to the Lord through my cards. I have such high hopes and plans of what this blog will some day be and big dreams that my cards will be so much more than me just getting to play with the patterned paper that I - OH SO LOVE - and the stamps that I am addicted to - etc., etc., etc.... I guess you get the picture! I enjoy my hobby - I'm addicted to it actually - not just to stamping but to collecting the stuff too! But how cool is it that it can be so much more than just a hobby?

And now about the card **
It's another oldie ... I made it for my best friends' birthday - and in NO way was I implying that Carol is now OLD or anything - it's the CARD that is the oldie here (he, he ) I am sorry about the picture quality though. A wanna-be-photographer is what I am and it shows. I'm also saving up for the Adobo photo elements.... that may help also!

Stamp used: House by the Sea; D. Morgan stamp by Stamps Happen

I colored it in with Lyra Pencils and Gamsol added stickles to the ocean and popped up the frame with foamy dots

Forget the health food. You need all the preservatives you can get!
Happy 40th birthday!
(inside of card)

Do you ever just sit down in amazement at how fast time goes by? I do. All the time. Seems like time - as well as everything else ( like the luandry, the house chores, paper filing, etc....) - just tends to get away from me. Seems like just yesterday I was getting started on keeping up my blog again, or I was getting ready for summer vacation and all of that has gone by already.

I'm back now and I'm ready to go!

SO...... here is a card I made for someone I work with for her 40th birthday.
The stamp is actually a digital image from Diamond graphics - they used to be Diamond Stamps many years ago. They no longer make stamps but they do sell the images on CD's. Their images are soooo easy to work with and can be resized easily. I went in through paint and added the "Over the Hill Buffet"caption on the front before printing it.

Colored with copics then added a little white fluff to the chip dip.

Thanks for stopping by! It's good to be back!!
